As an Early Childhood educator it is essential that you support the brain development of all children in your care

Step-by-step explanation
a)    Explain the importance of discussing children's interests with them, in order to stimulate early brain development. Early childhood development is very crucial in the growth and development of a child, and especially to their brain. This is because, a child's brain develops at a very high rate starting before birth and into early childhood. Thus, the brain of a child is influenced by how they interact with close people such as family and educators. Moreover, the environment they grow in plays an important role in ensuring that the brain of the child grows and develops in a healthy manner to make them successful people in future. Therefore, speaking, talking and discussing a child's interest is very crucial in ensuring that the child's brain is stimulated and develops in a perfect manner. It also helps an educator understand the needs of the child as they talk to them and as such protects the child's brain from stress.
b)    Explain the importance of using your observations of children to support their development.Childhood educators observe children to understand patterns in their behavior and thus track their development. It is an important aspect in early childhood education that helps the educator understand the strengths and weaknesses of a child. It is easy to track the skills and interests of each individual child. This way an educator can create guidelines that are useful in creating a suitable environment for learning and also improve their behavior. It is also a way of creating a relationship with the children that will enable an educator to understand the child and thus make them comfortable for the learning process.
c)   Explain the importance of using routines as opportunities to foster children's independence.Routines and patterns are very essential in the early developmental stages of a child. First, they instill a sense of security in the child of the environment around them. As a result children gain the confidence to interact with their peers and hence gain independence from their care givers. Moreover, children feel more independent when they understand their routines and thus are more independent of parents/educators supervision, making them independent individuals. Besides, children get to understand social skills and self-control behavior and positive behavior as they interact with their families and peers. It is also a means of increasing their ability to care for themselves and in the process learn what is expected of them in certain situations. It also prepares them for changes as they grow up making them independent and autonomous beings.
d.Explain the importance of encouraging children to explore the environment and biological resources, in order to positively influence learning and development.Encouraging children to explore the environment and biological resources creates an environment of opportunity around them. Thus, it is easy for children to explore their creativity as they stimulate brain development. Apart frombrain development, it is easy for children to achieve physical activity while learning, hence improving their overall mental and physical health. Additionally, it is an opportunity to allow children to learn social skills from each other. The interaction with their peers and educators creates a sense of confidence within the child, hence prepping them for better opportunities as they grow up.
